  • The information provided in this application will be considered public information.
  • Issuance of this permit does not excuse the permittee from complying with all applicable federal and state laws.
  • IDNR will issue its decision on the request within 10 business days from when all information has been received (may include additional information beyond this application).
  • Each permit issued applies only to the property and device identified by the requester.
  • Each permit issued only covers the applicant.
  • Only applicants are allowed to use the requested device. If 2 people are riding a device together both need to have been approved.

Requirements

  • Permittee to possess permit during use.
  • Violation of any of the permit conditions by the permittee will result in revocation of the permit.
  • Issuance of this permit does not excuse the permittee from complying with all applicable federal and state laws.
  • All recreation users are required to clean outdoor gear and devices before arriving to the facility and before leaving the facility. Remove seeds and mud from clothes, boots, gear, pets and devices.
  • Issuance of a permit does not guarantee safe conditions for operation at the permitted area.
  • The permittee shall not damage facility property (rutting ground, wetlands, water body bottoms, ski trails, trees, etc.).
  • IDNR is not responsible for any devices brought to and used at the sites and/or any possible damage to the device.
  • If a device gets stuck in a location staff must be notified to determine an acceptable way to get the device out of its location. Beyond possible revocation of permit, the state has the authority to charge a fee for having to help remove a stuck device and/or repair any damage caused by the device.
  • Use of device after denial is a violation of the rules and could lead to denial of site use and/or any appropriate tickets.
  • Use of device after approval is acceptance of any terms or conditions applied by IDNR.
  • IDNR reserves the right to modify the terms of the permit due to Acts of God and material change of conditions of the park.
