Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

​Accessibility at Lake La-Aqua-Na:


  • Parking - All parking lots are asphalt with accessible parking spaces with concrete sidewalks approximately 25' from the parking spaces. The park office has a wheelchair ramp.

  • Fishing/Boating - There is an accessible fishing pier located at the east end of the park and the accessible boat docks are located at the concession building. The Youth fishing pond has accessible parking and 3 concrete platforms for wheelchairs.

  • Restrooms - There are accessible vault toilets throughout the park.  

  • Camping - Pine Ridge campground has two accessible non-electric campsites (17 & 18. Hickory Hills campground has seven electrical accessible campsites (8, 19, 20, 31, 32) available, and two non-electric accessible campsites (4, & 5) available. Reservations for these sites can be made at ExploreMoreIL™.

  • Service animals are welcome in the park, and there is water access at all hydrants in the Hickory Hills and Pine Ridge campgrounds and in the day use area shelters.
