Park is spread out over 12,000 acres accessible mainly by township roads in remote areas.
Parking - Most of the parking lots are loose gravel, but there is accessible parking at the site office, Bonnie South, Waltonville Dam, Bluegill Hole, Nason South Access Area, and Bonnie Dam.
Restrooms - Accessible restrooms are available at the site office (flush), Bonnie South, Waltonville Dam, Bluegill Hole and Nason South Access Area.
Fishing/Boating - There are accessible 20' long fishing docks with textured aluminum surfaces that also double as boat access on the boat ramps at the Bonnie South, Waltonville Dam, Bluegill Hole and Nason South Access Areas. All docks are 100-200' from the parking area.
Hunting - Accessible duck and goose blind with adjacent concrete unloading pad and sidewalk is available at the Bonnie Dam. Please call the site office for reservations and assistance at 618-279-3110.
Waterfowl Viewing - At the Bonnie South Access Area, there is a 200' sidewalk overlooking our waterfowl refuge along the edge of Rend Lake.
Service animals are welcome, but the park does not have water fountains.
