Project Title: Critical Habitat for Massasauga
Community and/or Species Focus: Grassland/savanna, Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake
Goals/Objectives:
- Management and enhancement of known habitat by clearing invasive species and planting natives
- Add 200 acres of grassland habitat
Achievements:
- Eliminated 80% of invasive species
- Cleared 302 acres of invasive species
- Planted 800 pounds of native prairie seed
