Project Title: Kickapoo Creek Restoration Project - Phase I

Community and/or Species Focus: Kickapoo Creek

Goals/Objectives: 
  1. Construct 12-20 acres of wetlands within the floodplain
  2. Monitor fish populations pre-restoration and post-restoration
Achievements:
  1. ​Re-meandered stream channels were excavated and in-stream habitat was implemented
  2. The floodplain was lowered and 3.5 acres of wetlands were constructed
  3. Scheduled fish surveys twice a year for 6 sites
