Project Title: Kickapoo Creek Restoration Project - Phase I
Community and/or Species Focus: Kickapoo Creek
Goals/Objectives:
- Construct 12-20 acres of wetlands within the floodplain
- Monitor fish populations pre-restoration and post-restoration
Achievements:
- Re-meandered stream channels were excavated and in-stream habitat was implemented
- The floodplain was lowered and 3.5 acres of wetlands were constructed
- Scheduled fish surveys twice a year for 6 sites
