Landowners interested in adding their qualifying sites to the Illinois Nature Preserves Commission (INPC) System should coordinate with INPC well in advance of a targeted meeting date. This process could take up to a year (or more).

Please contact the Natural Areas Preservation Specialist assigned to the county where the property is located to determine if the property qualifies, then begin the process to propose adding the site to the System.
