Conservation Worker Program

The IDNR Conservation Worker Program is a seasonal employment program that provides additional help to our parks during their peak season's for camping, recreational and hunting programs offered at our facilities. Our Historic Sites offer positions to help with maintenance of facilities and assisting visitors. The principal responsibilities of park maintenance tasks are grass mowing, painting, trail maintenance, working in the campgrounds and pavilions, cleaning, and etc. 

To be considered for employment you must have a valid driver's license, be 17 years of age or older and be able to work weekends. Please submit the below application for either a State Site or a Historic Site and the complete the background check release forms.
