The IDNR headquarters at 1 Natural Resources Way in Springfield will resume normal operations on Monday, June 15 following severe storms late last week that caused a lengthy power outage. The department appreciates everyone's patience and understanding.

​Accessibility at Henderson County:

  • Parking - The parking lot at the shelter is gravel over broken and uneven asphalt and does not have accessible parking spaces. There is a short distance to the concrete sidewalk.

  • Park does not have accessible restrooms.

  • Service animals are welcome in the park, but outdoor water fountains are not available.
