​Accessibility at Mermet Lake:

 

  • Parking - The parking lots are oil, chip & gravel. There are concrete accessible parking spaces with adjacent concrete sidewalks. 

  • Trails - The Mermet Flatwoods trail is a 1-mile wheelchair accessible, fine aggregate surface trail located right behind the maintenance building. 

  • Fishing/Boating - There is a wooden accessible boat dock adjacent to the Club & Round parking areas on the northwest corner of the lake. 

  • Restrooms - The park has accessible vault toilets located near the maintenance building, southeast corner of the lake, Round Pond, Club Parking Lot and northwest corner of the lake. 

  • Hunting - There is an ADA waterfowl blind available at the site. There is also an accessible vault toilet at the blind. 

  • Service animals are welcome, but park does not have outdoor water fountains or hydrants.
