​Accessibility at Ten Mile Creek


  • Parking - The park has concrete parking lots at the site office, firearm range and boat ramps with accessible parking spots adjacent to the sidewalks. 

  • Park office is at ground level and has lever handles on door.

  • Fishing - There are five accessible boat docks that can be used for fishing at Ten Mile Creek. Two (Chain Pond and "L" Pond) are located in the Eads Unit 1/4 miles and 3/4 miles respectively south of Saddleclub road on North Program road on the right. The wooden decked docks are less than 100' from the parking area. A third dock is located 1/2 mile west of the east end of Saddleclub road on the north side. Turn north at the entrance, and the ramp will be just over the hill on the right. Two additional docks are located in the Belle Rive Unit. The "Football Pond" is north of IL Rt. 142 on County Rd. 2300E. (1/4 mile) then turn right on E. Davis Rd. (County Rd. 700N), and go 1/4 mi to the entrance on the left. There are concrete parking areas with ramps directly connected to the wooden decked docks. 

    A small pond (3/4 acre) located directly behind the Site Office on IL Rt 14 has a wooden fishing pier that is accessible by a gravel path from a gravel parking lot. The path is about 50 yards long from the parking area to the pier.

  • Restrooms - There are two accessible restrooms at the park office and two vault toilets in the park.

  • Service animals are allowed in the park, but there are no water hydrants or fountains in the park.
