​Physical Accessibility at Wolf Creek

  • Parking Lots are asphalt with accessible parking spaces. The distance to the nearest sidewalk is 100 feet. Sidewalks are concrete.

  • The fishing pier at Wolf Creek does not meet ADA guidelines due to the grade being too steep.

  • Restrooms - There are accessible vault toilets located in the Lick Creek and Sand Creek campgrounds, at the boat ramp area, at the Red Fox hiking trail parking lot, and at the Horse campground. Lick Creek campground has a shower house with accessible flush toilets. There is a concrete pathway to the shower house from the accessible campsites in this campground.

  • Camping - In the Lick Creek campground, there are 5 accessible campsites (sites 78, 79, 80, 81 and 82) which have wheelchair accessible picnic tables and firepits, and can be reserved though Exploremoreil.com. The Sand Creek campground has 5 accessible campsites (sites 205, 206, 207, 208 and 210) which have wheelchair accessible picnic tables and firepits, but these sites are first come, first served.

  • Picnicking - The Lost Shelter has wheelchair accessible picnic tables and access by way of a concrete sidewalk from parking lot. The Lost Shelter is located near the Red Fox hiking trail parking lot. 

  • Service animals are allowed in the park. There are water hydrants located throughout the park.
