The IDNR headquarters at 1 Natural Resources Way in Springfield has experienced a power outage and tree damage throughout the grounds as a result of severe storms in the area. The agency expects to reopen the building to the public on Monday, June 15, 2026, though this could be subject to change. Check back here for an update before planning to visit the office in person.

Camping

If you want to spend a night or two under the stars, Siloam Springs offers 86 Class A and 18 Class B camp sites featuring restrooms and electricity. Also available are four hike-in backpack campsites, three horse-ride/hike-in sites, and a special group campground. A centrally located shower facility is available to all campers. Horse Trails and Equestrian Camping

The park contains equestrian trails totaling 14 miles, covering ridgetops and steep, wooded valleys. A separate camping area is available for riders and their mounts, with water and electricity. Horse rentals are not available.
