Aerial Map Gallery
Aerial maps are useful in aiding a landowner decide where and what type of management activities to conduct on varying parts of the property. Good interspersion of different habitats is very beneficial to many wildlife species. Aerial maps also helps determine the exact location of the property and how to gain access. Two maps are required to apply for CSP.
An all color, 8.5" x 11", aerial Assessor Map that shows your property boundary, and tax parcel IDs numbers is required. This map can often be accessed on the your local county assessor's website or by a visit to the county assessor's office.
The second map required is an all color, 8.5" x 11", aerial Stand Map. Your stand map breaks your property down into managment units based on landcover type (forest, prairie, wetland, pond/lake) or more specifically, forest type (planting, upland, bottomland). Indicate what type of managmenet you intend to complete in each stand on this map. You can use a duplicate copy of your Assessor Map and neatly outline the stand boundaries on this map.
We no longer require a plat map to accept landonwers into CSP.
