Sawmill Directory
The following is a directory of active sawmills located within the State of Illinois. Mills listed in this directory were contacted by phone call and mail and include mills previously listed in the 2016 Illinois Sawmill Directory, as well as the USDA-Forest Service list of active mills. Independent searches for mills and wood product businesses were also completed by members of the Illinois Forestry Development Council and the Division of Forest Resources. This directory is not a complete or comprehensive census of each mill located within the state. Several mills could not be reached or elected to be left out.
