- Safety Education Information Note: If you plan on using a previous Hunting License to exempt yourself from the Hunter Safety Education requirement, you will need to contact the Safety Education Office for more information. Email Safety Education. This E-mail is for Safety Education issues only. You will need to be able to provide proof of your previous year’s license and you will still be required to obtain hunter safety to purchase a hunting license the following year. The exemption is good for one time/season only.
