​Accessibility at Nauvoo: 


  • Restrooms - The park has accessible vault toilets throughout the park and flush toilets in the shower building in the campground. 

  • Camping - Nauvoo has one accessible campsite. It is located 100' from the shower house, and has a wheelchair accessible picnic table and grill. 

  • Fishing - Horton Lake, located in the north central park of the park, has an accessible boat dock at the boat ramp (southern side of the lake). There is a 25 yard distance from the parking lot.

  • Picnicking - The main picnic shelter offers accessible picnic tables and restrooms, and the second park shelter offers accessible tables.  

  • Service animals are welcome in the park.
