Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

​Camping

Campground facilities, open from April 15 to November 1, accommodate recreational vehicles or tents and include a shower building with flush toilets, a trailer dump station, graveled pads and grills, water hydrants and primitive toilets. Campsites are Class A electric and Class C with showers. Groups are welcome. Permits are required and can be obtained from site staff or campground host. Reservations can be made at ExploreMoreIL™.

Equestrian Camping

Equestrian only camping is located on the north side of the park. Equestrian sites are not reserve-able, there is a campground host located at the front of the campground to get you registered, or it is self-pay during winter months. There is no electricity, tie lines are available, or a portable pen can be used for the horses. Sites are not electric, and the water is not potable.

Winter Camping

In the main camping area, Coyote Cove loop is open to winter camping with Class B sites with electric and primitive privies. No running water is available.
