What is cowboy action shooting?

Grab your hat and boots to head back in time and experience the Old West.

The World Shooting and Recreational Center features a cowboy action shooting area with 12 western shooting scenarios.

In this shooting sport, participants compete with firearms typical of those that would have been found in the Old West, such as single-action revolvers, pistol-caliber lever-action rifles, and old-time shotguns.

Competitions are staged at a special Old West-style course with several shooting stages and scenarios, some of which are based on history or Western movies.

Note: This area of the World Shooting and Recreational Complex is only open to approved sanctioned organizations. It is not available at this time for daily walk-in shooting.
