Kids Art in the Park Workshop-Nature Sketching

Description

The Nature Sketchbook Workshop is suitable for children ages 9 to 17.  Artist and teacher Georgia Brown will guide participants in making their own sketchbooks from scratch.  Each student will learn basic drawing skills as they sketch items from the natural surroundings at the park.  Students will go on a "listening walk" and discover how to identify plants and animals by looking for details and learn how to keep good sketch notes.
