Program: Reinterpreting Dickson Mounds
Description
Join the Illinois State Museum's curators of anthropology, Dr. Brooke Morgan and Logan Pappenfort, as they present a century of interpretation at Dickson Mounds Museum and discuss ongoing repatriation and reinterpretation efforts. Learn about how museum exhibits have changed over time and how the ISM and DMM are working with Tribal Nations to share a holistic story of Indigenous history in Illinois.
This program will take place in person and will be streamed online with advanced registration required. Register for the online viewing of the presentation.
