Plan a stop at the Goose Lake Prairie visitor center, and you’ll enjoy your visit a little bit more. A video will acquaint you with the area, as will the center’s nature displays. Stop in the visitor center for a map of the trails for self-guided hikes.  Tour the Observation Deck from which you can see the natural beauty of the prairie from an elevated view point. Be sure to ask for directions to the Butterfly Barn.
