Tree Campus helps colleges and universities around the country establish and sustain healthy community forests where our next generation of decision makers work, walk and recreate.  The five standards help get students involved in caring about trees and promoting healthy local forests.  Check and see if your college is a currently a Tree Campus USA:

Illinois has participated in the Tree Campus USA program from its beginning in 2008 and has been tied for the number one spot in the nation the majority of those years. Learn more about how to get your college or university involved.

As the official partner with the Arbor Day Foundation for the Tree Campus USA program administration, all applications are reviewed through IDNR at the state level. Start your application on-line.
